CAMDEN - Funeral service for Mildred P. Holt, 87, will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in the Beaverdam Baptist Church Cemetery, Cassatt. Rev. Bruce Hancock will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to charity of one’s choice. Mrs. Holt died Wednesday, March 11, 2009. Born in Warren, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Milivoj Piluga and Kata Bolish Piluga. She was the office manager for Cantey Tiller Pierce and Green LLP and retired in May 2008 after 48 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Camden and enjoyed traveling. Surviving are her husband of 39 years, Jim Clay Holt; daughters, Myra A. (John) Hoover of Mt. Pleasant, and Susie Lawson of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Todd (Ruth) Hoover of Mt. Pleasant, Craig Hoover of Pawley’s Island, Brian Ray of Gaffney, and Nikki (Archie) Nelson of Spartanburg; great-grandchildren, Laura Hays, Alex Hays, Anya Hoover, Sasha Hoover, Aaron Ray, Chris Ray, Aimee Nelson, and Archie Nelson IV. She was predeceased by a brother, Milan Piluga and Grandson Scott Hoover.
