BOONETOWN - Graveside service for Lewis Lee “Bubba” Freeman, 57, will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in Boonetown Cemetery, Kershaw. The Rev. Donald Barrett will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at House of Prayer with Open Arms Church, Kershaw. Mr. Freeman died Saturday, February 28, 2009. Born in Kershaw, he was a son of the late Lewis and Margaret Sheorn Freeman. Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Barbara Threatt; sister, Sarah Ann Bass; brothers, Edward Freeman and his wife, Dianne, Roger Freeman, and J.D. Freeman; seven step-children; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 nephews; and 2 nieces.
