CAMDEN - Funeral service for Carl Voyin Branham, Jr., 70, will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Atkerson will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday 5:00 -7:00 pm. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Kershaw County or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Mr. Branham, husband of Shelby Jackson Branham, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009. Born in Camden, he was a son of Peggy E. Branham and the late C.V. Branham, Sr. Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Lee Morris of Anderson, S.C.; son, Carl V. “Chuck” Branham, III of North Myrtle Beach, S.C.; mother of Camden; grandsons, Lake and Hunter Morris of Anderson, S.C.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Maxcy and Judy Branham of Bashom, N.Y., Grayson and Lois Branham of Camden, and Kevin and Carla Branham of Richmond, Va.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Jerry Gray of Camden, and Terri and Glenn Holland of Fountain Inn, S.C.
