LUGOFF - Funeral service for Adline June Craven Myers, 83, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Camden. Rev. Bruce Hancock will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service in the church Fellowship Center. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Music Ministry, 1201 Broad Street, Camden, S.C. 29020. Mrs. Myers died Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Born in Crescent, Okla., she was the daughter of the late Albert Charles Craven and Grace Amanda Hosington Craven. She received her Bachelor’s Degree Oklahoma Women’s College in Chickasha, Okla. and taught First Grade for 23 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Camden. Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Kenneth W. Myers; son, Don A Myers and his wife, Sarah Myers of Lugoff; daughter, Linda M. Davis and her husband, Dr. Jerry Davis of Maddison, Ala.; sister, Lola Airy of Mustang, Okla.; grandchildren, Erin Davis and her husband, Lt. Col. Steve Davis of Niceville, Fla., Michelle McClain and her husband, Brian of Saluda, S.C., Emily McConnell and her husband, Capt. John McConnell of Jacksonville, N.C. and Laci West and her husband, William West of Camden; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughter, Janet K. Myers; son, Kenny Myers; brother, Durell Craven; and sister, Alene Hail.
