CAMDEN - Funeral service for Eleanor Hayward Reynolds, 82, will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Bethesda Presbyterian Church. Rev. Dr. William F. Summers will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service in John Knox Hall. A private burial will be held in Forest Lawn Memorial park. Memorials may be made to the Walter M. Crowe Animal Shelter. Mrs. Reynolds died Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Born in Knoxboro, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Hobart and Mina McLain Hayward. She retired as a registered nurse from Glens Falls Hospital, Glens Falls, N.Y. She was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church and was an avid reader. Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Lawrence J. Reynolds; daughters and son-in-law, Candi and Rick Reed of Douglas, Ga., and Cindy and Greg Babcock of Concord, N.C.; son and daughter-in-law, Lawrence B. and Nikki Reynolds of Rome, N.Y.; brother, Barton Hayward of Camden; grandchildren, Michael Rist and his wife, Michelle, Kristin Brewer and her husband, Eric, and Owen Reynolds; and great-grandchildren, Amber Rist, Julia Brewer, and Garrett Brewer. She was predeceased by sisters, Carolyn Hayward and Jane H. Wood.
