ELGIN - Funeral service for Jerry M. Patton, 55, will be held Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Mr. Patton died Monday, February 16, 2009. He was a son of the late Roy and Betty Jean Moore Patton. Mr. Patton served in the Army and was an avid camper and NASCAR fan. He is survived by a son, Aaron Micheal Patton of Randleman, NC; a daughter, Annette Lynn Patton of Greensboro, NC and their mother, Sylvia Rowe; special family members, Denise Gardner, Peggy Hale, Harvey Gardner, Jr., Charles Gardner, Robbie Moore, Dwayne Luther, Debbie Hosier and numerous other family members.
