LUGOFF-Funeral service for Sandra Lou Yeager Horton, 57, will be held Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Rev. Todd Horton will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 647 Lachicotte Road, Lugoff, S.C. 29078. Mrs. Horton died Friday, February 13, 2009. Born in Warsaw, Ind., she was a daughter of Paul Alden and Berta Rhudell Dennison Yeager. She received her Bachelors Degree from Indiana University and her Masters in Education from the University of South Carolina. She taught special education in the Kershaw County School District. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Thomas Roger Horton; son, Thomas R. Horton Jr., and his wife, Katherine Smith Horton of Simpsonville; daughter, Katy Horton of Lugoff; parents of Syracuse, Ind.; sister, Suzie Pachynski of Syracuse, Ind.; brother, Tim Yeager of Syracuse, Ind; and grandchildren, Elijah Dixon, Keegan Horton, Thomas John Horton, and Abigail Emma Horton.
