CAMDEN - Funeral service for Dorothy Bennett Ross, 82, will be held Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Dr. Ron Taylor and Rev. Andrew Taylor will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Kershaw County Hospital Foundation. Mrs. Ross, wife of the late Frank N. Ross, died Friday, January 9, 2009. Born in Statesville, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Turner and Ruth Stewart Bennett. She enjoyed crocheting. Surviving are her children, Sam (Ann) Ross of Sunrise, Fla., Sandra R. (Carroll) Vinson of Camden, Debbie (Ron) Taylor of Sumter, and Donna (Steve) Hooley of Statesboro, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter Karen Roesch.
