CAMDEN - Visitation for John C. Riley Jr., 84, will be held Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Tri Cities Memory Garden and Funeral Home, Blountville, Tenn. with burial to follow in the cemetery. Mr. Riley died Monday, December 1, 2008. Born in Lee Valley, Tenn., he was a son of the late John C. Riley Sr. and Elizabeth Mae Shaw Riley. He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of WW II. He retired from DuPont where he was an Electrician. Surviving are his loving companion, Docia Collins; son and daughter-in-law, Barry L. and Carolyn Riley of Rising Fawn, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry Leaird Meetze and John Meetze of Camden; sisters, Mary Opal Sherfey and Jewell Gragg; 9 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Janet Smith Riley; son, Douglas Riley; and brother, Billy Joe Riley.
