LUGOFF - Funeral service for Anne Fulton Josey, 89, will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lugoff First Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Greg Sweet and Rev. David Robinson will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 647 Lachicotte Road, Lugoff, S.C. 29078. Mrs. Josey died Wednesday, November 26, 2008. Born in West Point, Mississippi, she was a daughter of the late Eddie and Annie Fulton. She was a member of Lugoff First Baptist Church. Mrs. Josey was a Girl Scout leader for many years, volunteered with the local schools, and worked the voting poles for many years. She was very instrumental in helping her husband with the family nursery. Surviving are her husband of 67 years, Lewis E. Josey; children, Harriette Anne Josey Edmonds of Columbia, Lewis Elvyn Josey, Jr. of Lugoff, Eddie John Josey and his wife, Donna of Lugoff, and Anna Bess Josey of Lugoff; sister, Tessie Mae Goines of Baton Rouge, La.; and grandchildren, Randy Edmonds, Tripp Josey, Benjamin Josey, Gabriel Crawford, Emma Josey, Ryan Josey, and Erica Josey. She was predeceased by a great-grandson; 4 brothers; and 1 sister.
