Mrs. Alexander passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018. Born on October 12, 1936 in Greenwood, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Robert T. Hellams and Georgia Devola White Hellams. Surviving are her children, John R. “Scooter” McGuirt, Jr. (Mary) and Tina M. Kelley; grandchildren, John R. McGuirt, III (Michelle), Virginia Elizabeth McGuirt, Taylor Kelley and Pamela Kelley; sister, Ann H. Fuller of Clinton, S.C. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles D. Alexander; brothers, Bill Hellams and Roberts Hellams.
