CAMDEN – A service to celebrate the life of Walter Lanaire Lemacks, 66, will be held on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The Rev. David Faile will officiate. Mr. Lemacks passed away at KershawHealth on Thursday, August 30, 2018. Born in Charleston, he was the son of the late Rev. Walter Edward Lemacks and Annie Mae Driggers Lemacks Grim. He enjoyed reading and playing the guitar. Surviving are his son, Walter L. Lemacks Jr.; daughter, Kerri Lyn Lemacks McCathern (Tracy); brothers, Michael Ellis Lemacks and Kevin Lee Lemacks; sisters, Deborah Ann Seale (Terry), Faye Lanett Outen (Matt Vinson), and Robin June Lemacks; grandchildren, Walter Bryan McCathern, Dustin Lee McCathern, Tristan Charles McCathern, Raichel Hailey Jones and Cali Morgan Toth; and great-grandchildren, Ashton McCathern and Rowen Bradwell. He was predeceased by a brother, George Ervin Lemacks.
