CAMDEN – Funeral services for Geraldine D. “Geri” Mims, 67, will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. David Snodgrass will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Theil-Meyer Pet Adoption Center. Mrs. Mims passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018. Born in Detroit, MI, she was a daughter of the late Morris DeWolf and Beverly Jean Vaness DeWolf. Mrs. Mims attended First Church of the Nazarene, Camden. She enjoyed shopping, crafts, plants and gardening, and especially taking care of her pet dog, Sweet Pea Mims. Surviving are her loving husband of 39 years, Jody Mims; daughters, Angela Pool (Melissa Stallcup) of TX, Rachel Owens (Nick) of Lugoff; son, Johnathan Deihs (Malikah) of Camden; grandchildren, Amber, Ashley, Tyler, and Somer Wills, Brady, Chandler and Heath Owens, Charles and Destiny Sims, Ethan and Anthony Nichols; and 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by siblings, Christopher DeWolf, Pamela Bryant and William DeWolf.
