LUGOFF – Funeral service for Andrew Harris, 71, will be held Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at Rock Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in Unity United Methodist Church Family Life Center Cemetery. Mr. Harris passed away at home on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. Born in Lugoff, he was the son of the late Dave White and Lizzie English Harris. He retired from Praxair and enjoyed drag racing. He was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Marilyn Chavis Harris; children, Andrew Blanding, Rhonda Harris McCoy (Darrell), Andrew L. Harris II (Tina), Christopher Chavis (Sawanna) and Jennifer Chavis; sister, Martha Harris Lawhorne (Jeffery); mother-in-law, Corine Chavis Kelly (Willie) and 13 grandchildren. He was predeceased by sisters, Lucille Harris and Addie Harris; and brothers, Belton Harris II, Woody James Harris, Benjamin Harris and Albert Harris.
