Kershaw – Funeral services for Mildred Marcine Anderson McKay, 84, will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Refuge Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Evan Smith and the Rev. Ed Stokes will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Columbia Children’s Home. Mrs. McKay, wife of the late Levi Glenn McKay, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018. Born in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late Archie A. and Winnie Gainey Anderson. Mrs. McKay was a member of Refuge Baptist Church. Surviving are her children, Cindy Wright (Wayne) of Kershaw, Richard McKay (Michelle Corder) of Kershaw; siblings, Ruby Watts of Heath Springs, Trenton Anderson (Joeann) of Kershaw, Carol Anderson (Pat) of Kershaw, Lonell Kelly of Camden, Shelby Crowe (Jerry) of Cassatt, Arnold Anderson (Susie Mae) of Kershaw, Louise Anderson; sister-in-law, Rosemarie Anderson; granddaughter, Wendy Wise; and great-grandchildren; Madison Briann Hodge and Ryan Mark Hodge. She was predeceased by a grandchild, Timothy Mark Wise; and 2 sisters and 5 brothers.
