CAMDEN - Marguerite Grimball Gayle passed away on November 7, 2008, in Columbia, South Carolina. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Gayle, her mother Marguerite Leonard Grimball, her father Harry M. Grimball and her sister, Trenholm Rumbough. Born in Charleston, S.C., on June 13, 1918, Peggy, as she was known to her friends, grew up in Charleston. Following her marriage to Charles, they moved to Florida, where they raised two daughters and then returned to South Carolina for their retirement years. She is survived by daughter, Barbara Davis and son-in-law, Dr. Dick Davis of Camden, S.C., daughter, Peggy Kiser and son-in-law, Wayne Kiser of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., six grandchildren Gayle Kiser, Alisa Kiser Mason, Gabriella Davis Carsten, Chas Davis, Warner Davis, Leize Davis, six great-grandchildren, and her brother Harry M.
