Obituary of Carroll Lee Armentrout
CAMDEN – A service to celebrate the life of Carroll Lee Armentrout, 67, will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Camden First Church of the Nazarene with burial to follow in the Campbell Family Cemetery Cassatt. The Rev. David Snodgrass and the Rev. Hoke Robinson will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Camden First Church of The Nazarene or Faith Nazarene Church.
Mr. Armentrout passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. Born in Winnsboro, he was the son of Ella Louise Critzer Oliver and the late Charles Edward Armentrout. He was a member of Camden First Church of the Nazarene. He was an avid NASCAR and Clemson fan. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and all of his animals. Carroll Lee was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Claudine Williams Armentrout whom he referred to often as “My Little Bride”; mother, Ella Oliver of Bishopville; daughters, Mischa Michel (Jack) of Cassatt, Denise Campbell (Stacey) of Lucknow, Tiffany Stockman (Timmy) of Camden, and Stephanie Peake (Shawn) of Lugoff; sister, Janet King of Savannah, Ga.; brother, Randy Armentrout (Brenda) of Cassatt; grandchildren, Jacob Michel, Luke Michel, Zachary Campbell, Garren Campbell, Laiden Stockman, Easton Catoe, London Catoe, Braelyn Peake and Huntley Peake; and great-grandchildren, Harrison Michel and E.J. Michel. He was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Armentrout.
