LUGOFF - Funeral service for Jack Thomas Lynch III, 56, will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Highway Pentecostal Church, Elgin , with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Paul Miles will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mr. Lynch died Saturday, November 1, 2008. Born in Laurel, Miss., he was a son of the late Jack Thomas Lynch Jr. and Varena Allen Lynch. He served in the Army Reserves. He was a member of Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church and an avid golfer. Surviving are his wife, Martha E. Lynch; children, April Michelle (Marc) Friedrichs of Elgin, Martha Renee (Jason) Porcu of Lugoff, and Caleb Andrew Lynch of Lugoff; brother, William Allen Lynch of Hattiesburg, Miss.; sister, Jackie Perkinson of Sugarland, Texas; and grandchildren, Dustin, Cameron and Isabella Friedrichs, Dylan, Ashlyn and Hannah Porcu.
