LUGOFF – A Mass of Christian Burial for Licia Elizabeth Kidd, 99, will be celebrated on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Farewell Prayers and Final Commendation will be in Florence National Cemetery. The Rev. Father John Zimmerman will officiate. A Rosary Service will be held on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with visitation following until 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Mrs. Kidd, wife of the late Stewart Comer Kidd, Sr., passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 9, 2018. Born in Newark, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Giambaptista and Ida Fiore Corona. She was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church where she was a member of the Monday Morning Ladies. She was an accomplished seamstress and received a scholarship for clothes designing. She also enjoyed decorating. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Stewart and April Kidd of Lugoff; and granddaughters, Dr. Allison Kidd and Meredith Kidd. She was predeceased by siblings, Frank Corona, Gerardina Cabot, John Vincent Corona, Amy Schilder and Vera Mastrangelo.
