I just learned of Butch's passing today. He was at KCSD back in the 70's when I was a civilian dispatcher at that department. My sincere condolences go out to his family and friends. I lost track of Butch, seeing him for the last time back in the mid-eighties. He was a dedicated officer who had a lot of personal drive and determination when it came to getting his job done and putting away the bad guys.
RIP, Butch.
