LUGOFF – A celebration of life service of Robert Jason Wright, 47, will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Gettys Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to KershawHealth Hospice or Rowan Presbyterian or Walter M. Crowe Animal Shelter. Jason died Monday, April 1, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Camden, he was the son of Russell Edward and Elma Orton Wright. He was manager of Elgin Gun Sales. Surviving are his parents, Russell Edward and Elma Orton Wright; brother, Chip Wright of Lugoff; niece, Gabrielle Wright; aunts and uncles, Martha and Tad Still, Evelyn and Tom Bura, Esther Brown, Wayne and Myra Hill, and Larry Wright; and cousins, Myles Brown, Amie Brown, Onatel Leal, Tommy Otero, Terri Jo Hill and Lacey Wright.
