ELGIN – A graveside service, with military honors, for M.T. Wright, 86, will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Mr. Wright passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018. Born in Hart County, GA, he was the son of the late Lodis Wright Henson. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was an educator for over 25 years. Mr. Wright was the Headmaster of Wildwood School and then worked in real estate. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, as well as a well-respected gentle man. Surviving is his wife, Margaret H. Wright; daughter, Allison W. Burnham; grandsons, Matthew Burnham Fulmer (Josh Fulmer), Stephen Paul Burnham, Jacob Wright Burnham and Will Luke Burnham; brothers, Robert Henson and Billy Henson; son-in-law, Kevin W. Burnham. He was predeceased by his brother, Jimmy Henson.
