CAMDEN - Funeral service for Betty Jean Hinson Harswick, 74, will be held Monday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff with burial to follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Lugoff. The family will receive friends Sunday 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Harswick, died Friday, October 24, 2008. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Edward and Nettie Atkinson Hinson. She enjoyed sewing and cooking. Surviving are her children, John W. Talley III of Cassatt, Delisa Ann Volpe of Columbia, and Allen Erik Harswick of New Rochelle, N.Y.; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters, Beulah Carroll and Frances Puleo.
