LIBERTY – A service to celebrate the life of Martha Powell Gravley, 60, will be held on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. at Galilee Baptist Church in Easley. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The family will also receive friends on Friday 6-7 p.m .at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Mrs. Gravley passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. Born in Pickens, she was the daughter of Mary Kathleen Collins Powell and the late Charlie Thomas Powell. Surviving are her husband of 33 years, Michael Clyde Gravley; daughter, Bridgett Powers (Rodney); step-daughter, Sonya Gravley; brothers, Richard Powell and Harold powell; sisters, Lillian Powell, Patricia Morgan, Nancy Centers, and Grace Nix; grandchildren, Avery and Anna Yates, and Allyson and Hank Powers; step-grandchildren, Corey and Makynsi Owens, Lexi Pridmore and Tristan Burell; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son, Michael Jerome Yates; step-son, Joey Gravley; brohters, Charles Powell and Clyde Powell; and sisters, Elizabeth Ann Parro and Eulamae Grice.
