BETHUNE – A service to celebrate the life of Shirley Ann Blackmon, 74, will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with a visitation 1hr prior to the service. Mrs. Blackmon passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018. Born in Bishopville, SC she was the daughter of the late Christina Horton. She was predeceased by her husband, Billy Blackmon. Surviving are her daughters, Nanette (Lorenzo) Murphy of Bethune, SC, Patricia Blackmon of Hartsville, SC, and Karen Blackmon of Green Island, NY; brother, Herbert Boyd (Lillie Mae) Horton of Bethune, SC; sisters, Annette Littlejohn of Forest City, NC and Lucinda Farmer of Bishopville, SC; grandchildren, Rahaad (Kya) Murphy of McKeesport Pa, LaQuan Murphy of Bethune, SC, Rodney Davis of Troy, NY and Diamond Davis of Bethune, SC; great-grandson, Tyson Eliott Murphy.
