LUGOFF – A celebration of life service for Timothy John “Timmy” Barnes, Sr., 54, will be Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Todd Horton will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Barnes passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018. Born in Camden, he was a son of Ann Barnes Stephens and the late Leslie Zemp Hayes. Mr. Barnes enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR, and spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife of 19 years, Dawn Kirkley Barnes; son, Timothy John “T.J.” Barnes, Jr.; Siblings, Cathy Corley (Tim), Joann Hayes (Thad), Ronald Fortner (Tara) and Richard Outlaw (Crystal); and numerous nieces and nephews.
