LUGOFF – Funeral service for Elise Rabon Hancock, 91, will be held on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Lugoff First Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Doug Huntsinger will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Hancock, wife of he late Clayton Belmont Hancock, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018. Born in Blaney, she was the daughter of the late Tilman and Annie Ray Rabon. She retired from Skyline Manufacturing and was a member of Lugoff First Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School. She enjoyed gospel music and playing with her dog “Pork Chop”. Surviving are her daughter, Rebecca Gainey of Cassatt; sisters, Lillian Barwick of Sumter and Vivian Atkinson (Lewis) of Oswego; granddaughter, Jennifer Baker (Stan); and great-grandson, James William Sowell. She was predeceased by a grandson, William Joseph Gainey.
