BETHUNE – Funeral service for Leonard Lee “Mick” Mickle, 82, will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff with burial to follow in Highland Heights Cemetery, Kershaw. Mr. Mickle passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018. Born in Kershaw, he was the son the late John and Callie Truesdale Mickle. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He enjoyed carpentry and plumbing, and was a meat cutter. He did industrial cleaning. Surviving ae his wife Barbara Ann Wright Mickle; children, Beulah Mickle, Levon Mickle and Stephanie J. Mickle; siblings, John Mickle, Geneva Mickle, Mary Myers, Daisey Drakeford, J.L. Mickle, Mattie McCuthinson, Hattie Wilson, and Bernice Bryant; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Johnny Mickle.
