LUGOFF – Funeral service for Mary O’Quinn Martin, 74, will be held on Monday at 12:00 p.m. at Union Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Lewis will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Union Baptist Church. Mrs. Martin passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Henry Robert and Nannie Alberta Sanders O’Quinn. She retired from Cogsdill Tool and was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church. Mrs. Martin was a devoted, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother who cherished the time spent with her family. Surviving are her husband, John Mathew “Buck” Martin; daughters, Mary Ruth Johnson (Charles) of Elgin and Johnnie Anne Crocker (Lou) of Elgin; sisters, Ruth Coyle of Jacksonville, N.C. and Tammy O’Quinn White of Elgin; 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Robert Wayne O’Quinn, Willie Lee O’Quinn and Henry Dwight O’Quinn.
