LUGOFF – Funeral service for Laura D. Lee, 97, will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Camden. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Gideons International. Mrs. Lee, wife of the late James H. Lee, passed away at the Karesh Wing on Saturday, January 27, 2018. Born in Staunton, VA, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Margie Hook Snyder. Mrs. Lee retired as a beautician and was a member of Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church. She was a member of the American Legion Post 17 Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are her children, Barbara D. Ray (Larry) of Lugoff, Russell “Rusty” Davis (Jean) of Camden, and Charlotte A. Watts (Rusty) of Lugoff; 9 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Russell J. Davis; grandson, Roger J. Davis; twin sister, Louise Kelly; and siblings, Edna Rittenhouse, Rosa Lee Spears, Hilda Nicely, and Jack Myers.
