LUGOFF - Funeral Service for Helen Lloyd Brock, 78, will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Lugoff Friendship Baptist Church with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Matt Galloway and Rev. Billy Winburn will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home and also Wednesday 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to The Gideons International, P.O. Box 664, Lugoff, S.C., 29078. Mrs. Brock, wife of the late William B. Brock, died Sunday, October 19, 2008. Born in Philadelphia Community of Darlington, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Asbury Lloyd and Marie Adams Lloyd. She was a charter member of Lugoff Friendship Baptist church where she spent many years teaching the Five Year Old Sunday School Class. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Delores and Cotton Kirkland of Lugoff, and Angela and Tommy Peach of Lugoff; brothers, Harold Lloyd of Darlington, and Carlysle Lloyd of Myrtle Beach; sisters, Annie Andrews of Clemmons, N.C., and Agnes Smith of Darlington; sister-in-law, Joyce Lloyd of Darlington; grandsons, Jeremy (Katie) Peach and Anthony Peach; and great-grandchildren, Alyah, Megan, Maeven, and Michael. She was predeceased by her brothers, Henry Lloyd and Joseph A. Lloyd; sister, Edell Paquette Taylor.
