REMBERT – Funeral services for Russell Sentell Alston, 31, will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Union Baptist Church, Rembert, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Walter Robertson, III will officiate. The family will receive friends at 7335 Odell Lane, Rembert, S.C. Mr. Alston passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Russell Frank and Jeanntte Gary Alston. Mr. Alston was a member of Union Baptist Church. He enjoyed cars and drag racing. Surviving are his parents, Russell and Jeanntte Alston of Rembert; siblings, Kinisha McConico (Chris) of Sumter, Ashley Gary, Tyisha Alston, and Yaquis Alston all of Rembert; and several other relatives.
