LUGOFF - A funeral service for Allen Pickens Tidwell, 73, will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with a visitation 1hr prior. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Joe Stines will officiate. Mr. Tidwell passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018. Born in Camden, S.C., he was the son of the late Frank Ashby Tidwell and Emma R. Nichols Tidwell. Surviving are his loving wife of 52 years, Gloria Emily Tidwell; children, Denise (Billy) Roberts, Allen (Amber) Tidwell, and Renee Wescott; grandchildren, Ashley (Carl) Peebles, Heather Thompson, Harley Bell, Whitney (Layton) Hodge, Brady Tidwell, Jaydon Peake, Kyndall Peake, Naomi Tidwell, Jacob Wescott, Donavon Wescott, and Matthew Wescott; great-grandchildren, Macie and Dayten Griemsmann, Waylon Hodge, Xavier and Jason Wescott; siblings, Vermell J. Tidwell, Marron F. Wilson, Frank "Hank" Tidwell, Emma A. "Peewee" Wilson, Dorothy A. "Dot" Kelly, Rembert J. Tidwell, and Frank "Jr." Tidwell.
