CAMDEN – A memorial service for Gayle Brown Clyburn, 73, will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Camden. The Rev. Phillip Gerrald will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. A private inurnment for family will be held in Fort Jackson National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital or The Alzheimer’s Association. Mrs. Clyburn passed away Thursday, January 04, 2018. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of DaCosta and Myrtis Boland Brown. Mrs. Clyburn was a member of First Baptist Church, Camden, where she sang with the choir. She enjoyed ceramics and yardwork. Surviving are her husband, Stephen B. Clyburn, Sr.; son, Stephen B. “Skipper” Clyburn, Jr. of Charleston, S.C.; daughter, Rebekkah C. Styron (Scott) of Asheville, N.C.; a sister, Susan B. Mitchum (Ron) of Elgin; and 4 grandchildren,
