CAMDEN – Graveside service for Helen Roberta Melissa Sutton Hawkins, 42, will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. in Cedar Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mrs. Hawkins passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Edward Sutton, Jr. and Helen Workman Sutton. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Surviving are her husband of 20 years, Erskine Hawkins, Jr.; daughter, Michelle Sutton of Sumter; sister, Barbara S. Stuckey; brothers, Edward Sutton Jr., Llewellyn Sutton, Henry Sutton, James Sutton, Jesse Sutton and Michael Sutton; and granddaughter, London Sutton. She was predeceased by an infant son, Michael Burris; and brother, David Sutton.
