ELGIN – Funeral services for Eugene Hastings, Jr., 49, will be held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Hastings passed away November 7, 2017. Born in Salisbury, N.C., he was a son of Sandra Beam Hastings and the late Eugene Hastings, Sr. Mr. Hastings was a member of Lugoff First Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Jeannie Fran Hastings; mother, Sandy Hastings of Salisbury, N.C.; step-children, Tina Jeffcoat, April Harrison, Crystal Harrison, Cindy Harrison, Charlie Harrison; siblings, Sabrina Wright (Donnie), Chase Hastings, Ralme Hastings; 14 grandchildren; 2 nephews; and 1 great-nephew.
