CASSATT – Funeral services for Debra Lea Hodge, 60, will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Columbia. The Rev. Larry Newman will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society. Mrs. Hodge passed away November 12, 2017. Born in Bluefield, W.V., she was a daughter of the late Lewis Donald Keffer and Nellie Smith Dyer. Mrs. Hodge was a member of Malvern Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of 27 years, Willie Joseph Hodge, Jr.; daughters, Dawn Tart (Jayme Gainey) of Cassatt, Christy Hopkins (Heath) of Camden; son, Lee Tart, Jr. (Jennifer) of Lugoff; 8 brothers and sisters; and 10 grandchildren.
