CASSATT- Thomas Wilbur Martin was born in Monroe, North Carolina, on December 29, 1976. He is the son of Sarah Picklesimer Wilson and William Jackson Martin. Thomas was one of the kindest people and friend to many that anyone could know. He loved life and family and was loved equally back and will be missed greatly. He is survived by his mother, Sarah Picklesimer Wilson of Cassatt; step-father, Alton R. Wilson; father, William Jackson Martin of Rockingham, North Carolina; three sisters, Shellie Martin, Calla Wilson, and Penelope Wilson. Thomas is the grandson of the late Dr. Wilbur T. Picklesimer and the oldest grandson of Penelope Mincy Picklesimer of Augusta, Ga. and the late Grady C. Martin and Lowery Martin of Indian Trail, N.C.; seven aunts; and two uncles. Services will be private.
