BLYTHEWOOD – Funeral service with military honors for Christopher Columbus Alexander, 50, will be private. Mr. Alexander died Thursday, October 26, 2017. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Otis Jerome Wood and Mattie Belle Alexander. He retired from the United States Army. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing cards, traveling and spending time with friends. Surviving are his son, Christopher Jordan Alexander of Savannah; brothers, Michael Alexander, Tyrone Alexander (Alvita), Frederick Alexander (Theresa), Sam Alexander (Perita), and Benny Benson; and sisters, Lucinda Wilson (Jackie) and Ophelia Torres (Luis); and a host of nieces and nephews.
