CAMDEN - Funeral service for Jessie James “Jimmy” Lynch, Jr., 63, will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at El-Bethel Faith Community Church with burial to follow in Beulah United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Joe Stines and Rev. Richard Cameron will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to El-Bethel Faith Community Church, 905 Longtown Road, Lugoff, S.C. 29078. Mr. Lynch died Saturday, October 4, 2008. Born in Camden he was a son of the late, Jessie James Lynch Sr. and Ida Mae Robinson Lynch. He retired from Dupont after 27 years. He was an avid baseball fan and coached little league baseball for many years. He enjoyed playing golf and gardening, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Lynch was a member of El-Bethel Faith Community Church. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Marianne Williams Lynch; sons and daughters-in-law, Rusty and Tammi Lynch of Lugoff, Jody and Dawn Lynch of Camden, and Kevin and Tabby Lynch of Lugoff; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Cathy Lynch of Lugoff, and Lou and James Ann Lynch of Lugoff; and grandchildren, Thomas Lynch, Brittany Lynch, Carrie Lynch, Austin Lynch, Jay Lynch, Cody Lynch, and Taryn Lynch. He was predeceased by a sister, Joanne Smith.
