MCBEE – Funeral services for Jimmy Dinkins, will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mr. Dinkins died in Carolina Pines Hospital in Hartsville, S.C. on September 30, 2017 at the age of 62. Jimmy was born on September 30, 1955 in Kershaw County. He went to Kershaw County schools. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Sam & Mattie Dinkins; wife, Cynthia Dinkins; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by sisters, Mattie Peebles and her friend, Clarence, and Sara (Wallace) Haggins; adopted sister, Sabrina Wright; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Jimmy was just who he was, Jimmy Dinkins. He was easy going and quiet, could work at any job and fix almost anything. Jimmy was a great handyman. Anyone that knew Jimmy Dinkins, knew that he was loved by his family and friends.
