Lugoff – Funeral service for Polly Owens Parker, 88, will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery, Camden. The family will receive friends Friday 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association. Mrs. Parker, wife of the late Allison Floyd Parker, Jr., passed away at home September 27, 2017. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Louise Owens Pitts. She retired from Barclays Finance where she was a manager. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Camden and enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Surviving are her daughters, Mikie Parker Lynch of Camden and Cathie Parker of Lugoff; her loving daughter-in-law, Patricia Parker of Lugoff; sisters, Carolyn Zimmerman of Camden and Beverly Simpson of Camden; brother, Billy Pitts of Camden; grandchildren, Deana Parker Kelly and Jason Tate Lynch; great-grandchildren, Hunter Thompkins, Allison Thompkins, Ken Kelly Jr., Jordan Cox and Brianna Brown; and 8 great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Dean Parker; sister, Sarah Peake; and brother, Ricky Pitts.
