Leaving a Legacy of Love
From her youth to her grave, She set a standard to live by
Helping both small and old And those timid and shy.
Angels are not born, they are made from what she had in her
And from what God gave her each day.
This wife that Charles took For better or worse
Proved the legacy she leaves Included her being a nurse
To those who were in need Those whom she would feed
And comfort their woes in sweet repose,
Those choices chosen When she left behind,
These loved ones in grief All share the belief that,
God’s new angel above Set a standard of love
Here on earth below And tonight a new star shines,
