CAMDEN – Graveside service for Carolina W. Montgomery, 94, will be held on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in Quaker Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church. Mrs. Montgomery, wife of the late R.R. Montgomery Jr., passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 14, 2017. Born in Woodruff, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Carolina Rogers Workman. She was a graduate of Lander College. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Young at Heart. Mrs. Montgomery enjoyed gardening and decorating. Surviving are her daughter, Molly M. Williams (Sherrill) of Camden; grandchildren, Cristy Goodwein (Justin) and Carrie Denton; and great-grandchildren, Logan, Caleigh, Campbell, Carson, Lynsey, Sam, and Luke. She was predeceased by a son, Robert R. Montgomery III.
