ELGIN – Funeral service for Stephen Elliot Fogle, 23, will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Columbia. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Shriner Hospital, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607. Stephen passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017. Born in Columbia, he was the son of George David and Karen Elaine Carmichael Fogle. He was a graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School and received a Bachelor’s of Art Degree from the University of South Carolina. He was a claims adjuster for South Carolina Farm Bureau. He was a member of Masonic Lodge Kershaw 29 and a Shriner with the Jamil Temple. Surviving are his parents, David and Karen Fogle of Elgin; brother, George D. Fogle Jr. of Boston, Mass. and Kevin Edward Fogle of Valdosta, Ga.; paternal grandmother, Hazel Fogle; and his girlfriend, Julia Moye of Lugoff. He was predeceased by paternal grandfather, L.O. Fogle; and Maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Mary Carmichael.
