LUGOFF - A celebration of life for Joseph Ronald Konitzer, 61, will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the Chestnut Field at Dry Branch Ranch, 1880 Dry Branch Road, Lugoff, S.C. Rev. Dr. Mark Bredholt will officiate. Mr. Konitzer died Wednesday, September 24, 2008. Born in Spruce, Wis., he was a son of Marie Elizabeth Vorron Konitzer and the late Marcel Konitzer. A Vietnam veteran, he served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed the outdoors, playing cards and photography. He is survived by his wife of 40 years., Diane M. Konitzer; his mother of Oconto Falls, Wis.; daughter, Brenda Sue Konitzer of Lugoff; brothers, Al Konitzer, Bill Konitzer, Marcel Konitzer Jr., Tim Konitzer, and Roger Konitzer; and sister, Lana K. Geurts.
