CAMDEN – Funeral service for Carl Alexander Holland, 93, will be held on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Beulah United Methodist Church Cemetery, Camden. The family will receive friends Sunday 2:30-4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beulah Methodist Church. Mr. Holland, husband of the late Jessie Parker Holland, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 21, 2017. Born in Camden, He was the son of the late Eugene and Alberta Branham Holland. He retired from DuPont and enjoyed woodworking and car restoration. Surviving are his children, Carl Alexander Holland, Jr., Michael Eugene Holland, Susan Holland Dauler and Glenn William Holland; sisters, Zulene Holland Dougherty and Sandra H. Hatcher; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Donald H. Holland and Alton T. Holland; and sisters, Margaret Holland Ford and Maxine H. Humphrey.
