LUGOFF – Funeral services for Timothy Elm, Sr. will be held at 12pm, with a visitation 1hr prior, on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Unity United Methodist Church. Rev. John Dicks Sr. will officiate. Timothy Elm, Sr. was born to eternal life following a short illness on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at his home. Timothy was born on December 22, 1947 to Mary Lee Elm and the late Frank Elm. Timothy attended Jackson High School in Camden, SC. He accepted Christ at a very young age. Upon retirement after over 20 years of dedicated service to Kershaw County Government, Timothy remained employed with Savage Royall & Sheheen Law Firm. Timothy was a passionate man who enjoyed spending quality time with his family. He enjoyed playing baseball in his younger days. Timothy leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Mary Lee Jacobs; daughters, Sharon (Jeffrey) Hayes and Stephanie Peeples, both of Lugoff; sons, Timothy (Paula) Elm, Jr. of Lugoff, Ronald (Christy) Elm and Michael (Judy) Elm of Richmond, GA; sister, Barbara L. Harris of Lugoff; sister-in-law, Mary Flowers; 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends; a special cousin, Frank E. Williams and nephew, Benjamin Stoney. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Elm and brother, Donald Elm, Sr.
