ELGIN – Funeral Services for Brenda Joy Perry Goff, 55, will be held Friday at 3:00 p.m. at Alpine Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Robin Morrow will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ASPCA. Mrs. Goff passed away Monday, July 3, 2017. Born in High Point, N.C., she was a daughter of the late John Henry and Sally Irene Weed Perry. Mrs. Goff attended Alpine Baptist Church. She enjoyed coloring, arts and crafts, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Surviving are her husband of 13 years, Jeffrey Goff; son, Joshua Perry (Reyna) of Greer, S.C.; step-son, Justin Goff; brothers, Wayne Perry (Michelle) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Dean Perry of Winnsboro, John “Boo” Perry of Covington, GA, Jamie Perry (Tawney) of Covington, GA; sisters, Debbie Haney (Wayne) of Winnsboro, Becky Bradwell (Ricky) of Pelion, S.C., Georgia “Poo” Perry of Leland, N.C., Martha Perry of Lexington; and grandchildren, Ava and Trae Perry.
