Mary Hilton Bradley, 90, widow of Gary B. Bradley, passed away Thursday, June 29th, 2017 at home surrounded by family. Mary and Gary were married for 67 years until parted by death. Born July 19th, 1926, in Kershaw, South Carolina, daughter of the late L.D. Hilton and Ruth O'Banion Hilton. After obtaining her nursing degree in New Orleans, Mary began her career as a Registered Nurse at Kershaw County Memorial Hospital where she served her community for 47 years. Many of those years spent as Head Supervising Nurse, until her retirement in 1994. Mary dedicated her retirement years to nurturing her family, tending to her garden, crafting, and creating delicious recipes. Mary is survived by daughters Sharon and her husband, Richard McLeod Sr. of Lexington, and their two children Richard and Roxanne, Sandra and her husband, John C Dominick Jr. Of Daniel Island and their two daughters, Beckie and Lisa, and Wendy and her husband, John Jordan of Cassatt and their two sons, Justin and Dylan; brothers Erik and his wife Nancy of Kershaw and Harry of Kershaw; sister Sara Taylor of Greelyville; nine great grandchildren, all adored by their "Nana". Mary is preceded in death by her spouse, parents, and brothers Jack and Sam Hilton. Mary's family would like to extend special thanks to Sandi Doyle for her love and tireless care of Mary during her final year. Additionally the family would like to thank Theresa Maples, Carol Coates, Joyce Carpenter, Crystal Thompson, Thomasina Portee, Jay and Marty Huggins, Dr. Tallulah Holmstrom, and Cheryl with Kershaw Health Hospice. Graveside service will be held at McLeod Chapel in Rembert, South Carolina on Wednesday, July 5th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to McLeod Chapel.
